I got a job on my first feature film. It’s called Angel Camouflaged. It’s starring James Brolin, Dilana Robichaux, and Warrick Grier. Its directed and shot by Michael Givens. I’m a Set PA (but i’m not getting paid so on paper i’m an intern) which means I’m the ADs bitch but luckily they like me. The 1st AD is Jewels Satterfileld who is nice when she can be which is fine cause her job isn’t to be nice. I’ve worked with both the 2nd AD (Ben Hammock) and the 2nd 2nd AD (Jason Scott) on the Cannon Street Boys. So that’s how I got the job on this. I’m excited to see a finished product. It looks really good so far.
I’m also almost done with school. Ill probably continue to go just to earn credits if i want to transfer and get a 4 year degree later. as of now though im pretty happy being on set and 12 hour days aren’t bad when its what you want to do.
Are you still filming around Charleston? Would love to see some of the filming.
yes we are still shooting in charleston. but its a closed set so you cant come by and watch. sorry.

Thanks for the fast reply. I’m a photographer. Do you know who I would contact about shooting stills? I’m sure they already have someone, but maybe they could use an assistant. Thanks for the info about the closed set.

they do have a stills and they are really picky about what stills they let out. they wouldn’t let the P&C take stills for the story.
Has James Brolin a big part in this movie?
Yeah he does. May I also add he is a nice guy and is very pleasant to talk to. He will just stand next to me and share stories about how he got started and things like that.
Keep us updated on the movie James. It is fun to hear about what goes on behind the scenes of a movie being filmed here. And hope you learn a lot!
