army wives set tour, the riverdogs, and my game

armywivesive been to the army wives set before for my camera internship interview but this time was special. it was a field trip with my set construction class. i posted lots of pictures on my Facebook. so if you are my friend you should probably check it out. i went to both sets, the main one and the one in north chuck, which is an abandoned shopping center, where the hospital and other house interiors are at. its also where they build all their props and sets.

riverdogs

i also went to the Riverdogs game on Tuesday with my grandfather. im not a huge sports guy but it was fun. i figured id at least watch a baseball game to brush up a little before script supervising for a baseball film (The Cannon Street Boys). it probably helps that i have the coolest grandfather ever. whats cooler than giving me a place to live rent free while i go to school and taking me to a baseball game?

on the note of my game i managed to get some digits last night. ill keep you updated on how that goes.

PS. r.e.m. is a great band.

  1. Karen says:

where is the army wives set located. I’m trying to plan an army wives trip out there and I don’t know where anything is located. I would greatly appreciate some directions.. thanks

  2. Sorry there are no tours or anything of the set. I just got to see it being in film school and my set construction teacher helped build the sets on the pilot and took the class to see. And now I’m an intern in the camera dept and I don’t think they would appreciate me putting that info out.
